We are all back home having completed all of the European festival shows we had planned. So now we begin the process of assembling all of the material for the completion of the final mixes of Lauren’s debut album.We are really looking forward to havng everone hear all of the great songs Lauren has recorded. We begin on Mon. and should be putting the final touches and tweaks when Lauren and her father come over to Miami later on in July.

Fun photo of Lauren and Julliette from Julliette and the Licks at the Bilbao BBK Live Festival in Spain. Man, were they great. Tons of attitude, great playing and Julliette is an amazing frontperson. Plus, it was her birthday, so we all hung out watching the other bands on the closed circuit TV’s.The Bilbao show was very interesting. The trucks didn’t arrive on time so we played on some of the other bands gear.
The guys in Stone Sour, Jim and Shawn, were nice enough to lend Richie and Randy their instruments. This is the kind of thing that makes all the traveling and torturous schedules worth while. Meeting and hanging with all the bands. We are all doing the same thing playing the music we love and enjoying the support of all the people that come out to see us.

Thanks to all the people who came out over the last week of Festival Shows. We finished our last date of this run last night at The Brixton Academy in a benefit for the Clive Burr trust.

Fields Of Rock

Here is the Fields Of Rock V-Blog. This show was the hi-light of the tour so far, not only did we get to perform with our friends Mastodon but, we also played on the same stage as Heaven And Hell. We got a chance to talk with them and take some photos. Real fan stuff. You can see Tony Iommi in the background walk past Lauren and I while we were filming. Like I said real ‘fan’ stuff. Day off today. We are in a studio in Rome mixing some of the Dubai footage for a DVD release. I am currently awaiting the files to be downloaded from the studio’s FTP site. Six hours and counting. Anyway, tomorrow we are playing the Olympic statium in Rome and then it’s on to Spain.

Here is a shot of Lauren with the amazing Ronnie James Dio from Heaven and Hell. We were on the same stage earlier in the day. Right before we went on the skies opened up and started raining buckets. The crowd was a little damp but in great spirits and we had a great show.

Today we have a day off in Rome. Then another show tomorrow. This time at the Olympic Stadium. Should be amazing.
